At The Bell, we offer the ultimate wedding venue in Suffolk as well as the personal care and attention you deserve on what is the most special day of your life.
We are licensed for civil weddings in our Tudor Room, so you can choose to have your ceremony as well as your reception at our Inn. Our banqueting suites can accommodate from 10 to 60 guests for the breakfast, or 150 for a buffet and evening reception.
The Bell is the perfect place for your wedding in Suffolk. Our beautiful building, parts of which date back to the 16th century, and stunning courtyard garden provide a wonderfully romantic backdrop for your wedding photographs and create the perfect environment in which to enjoy a glass of champagne and canapés with your guests.

Our menus are freshly prepared, of course, should you decide on a different menu altogether or would like to change the detail slightly, we will be more than happy to assist you.
The Cavendish Suite
The Cavendish suite is our first floor function room, benefiting from its own bar and private facilities. It has natural light from both sides of the room.

Evening Reception - maximum 100
The Tudor Room
The Tudor Room is brimming with character with its beams and beautiful fire place.
Seating capacity:
Civil Ceremony - maximum 30
Banqueting – maximum 30
Evening Relaxing/ Buffet Room - maximum 50
