The Bell prides itself on serving great food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The menus change with the seasons and include simple classics, reflecting the supply of local produce and following our philosophy of being cooked simply and priced sensibly.
With its cosy atmosphere and open fireplaces, the Lounge & Public Bar are perfect for either a bar meal or an indulgent cream tea.
The Garden Room has a contemporary and beautiful light feel during the summer months and leads to the courtyard for those sunny days.
For those wanting something a little more formal, our restaurant has beautiful oak beams and a warm "Bistro" feel to it.
The Tudor Room is perfect for private dinning and small functions. With beautiful oak beams and large fireplace it is a wonderful banqueting hall.
The Bell is now open for food all day every day, so if you need that late lunch or early dinner we will gladly cater for you. If you are an early riser and fancy joining us for a full English Breakfast, cereals, toast and fruit we serve from 7 am till 9 am Monday to Friday and 8 am till 10 am at the weekend.
We start our main menu from 12 pm and serve through till 9pm.

We have an extensive wine list, including an array by the glass. Whether you’re a serious wine buff or you simply enjoy a glass, take a look! We hope we have offered the perfect accompaniment to your meal, as well as plenty of choices of great wines to enjoy on their own.
