The Bell is a delightful half-timbered coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, situated in the small market town of Clare.

The Bell has fifteen ensuite bedrooms located within the main building and our annex. Each has been tastefully furnished and all have full facilities. Ground floor rooms are also available. 

The Restaurant & Garden Room, Lounge & Public Bar offers excellent menus including English classics accompanied by an extensive wine list and traditional beers. The Tudor Room with its original beams is perfect for private functions, offering fine dining in beautiful surroundings.

The Bell also offers conference and banqueting facilities for up to 60 people and is a popular wedding venue.
